Hi my name is Tyra Gwalthney. I am a junior and it is my first year as a writer for the Knight Crier. In school, I love singing in our choir and performing in our musicals. Last year I was a part of Troubadour, Thespians, and the African American Awareness Club. Out of school, my interests include reading, soccer, more singing, and making awesome memories with my friends. Although I am not 100% sure what I want to do career-wise yet, I am thinking of majoring in both psychology and something in English, possibly journalism.
Fun Fact: I have written quite a few poems for my friend’s dead fishes.
