HONORABLE MENTION

Patterson’s 1,000th assist

North Penn Senior Charlotte Patterson achieved her 1,000th assist for the first time in North Penn Volleyball history.

10) Fisher, Shui, and Warner qualify for the Cross Country States. 

With an intense season Junior Colin Fisher, Freshman Achilles Shui, Sophomore Ava Warner qualified for cross country’s states. They all had a great season and this accomplishment was good enough for the top 10 spot. Check out more here.

9) Yunaska and Luby’s 2 hour match

After a long grueling tennis match filled with intensity and pressure, the seniors ended in a tiebreaker and took home the win 10-7 on their Senior Night which takes the #9 spot. 

8) Odonnell scores 4 goals

Taking the 8th spot on the list, sophomore Riley Odonnell came through strong scoring 4 goals handing Wiss field hockey their first loss of the season with a score of 7-1. This game kept the Knights’ winning streak alive.

7) Blanch scores in the first 30 seconds

Taking the #7 spot is, Junior Lauren Blanch. Blanch found a way to move the ball down the field and score, starting off the game with a strong lead against Souderton soccer team. North Penn took the win of 3-1 giving the Knights a boost of energy.

6) Water Polo wins in overtime to advance to State championship

Taking the #6 spot is the boy’s water polo going into double overtime in the semi-final game. Owen Fritz scored within the last 3 minutes taking the lead 13-12 and advancing the team to the state championship. Check out more here

5) Eaton reaches 4,000 yards 

Khalani Eaton gained his 4,000th rushing yards in his career against CB East football team, going into this game with 3,948 rushing yards and 55 touchdowns. This accomplishment fits perfectly into the top 5 spot.

4) Gonzalez beats the clock 

As the clock ticked away it seemed assured that North Penn and Haverford soccer game would be carrying this battle to overtime. Nevertheless, with just 27 seconds left in the second half, Senior Jovani Gonzalez found the net, bringing the score to 3-2, giving the Knight a win, advancing them to the next round of playoffs. 3) Water polo champs 

After a long awaited state title, the guys and girls water polo team claimed the state title. The Knights were hungry for this championship due to the altered season because of covid. This success was good enough for the #3 spot. Check out more here

2) Velaga, the undefeated state champ

Earning the #2 spot on our list is Junior Esha Velaga. Velega took home the tennis state championship after a competitive and intense, undefeated season. Check out more here

1) Khalani Eaton breaks 9 man tackle 

In his second appearance on our list, Khalani Eaton breaks through 9 tackles to go on a score a touch down against the CB West football team. This play was even spotlighted on Sports Center Instagram page. It was obvious that this deserved the #1 spot on our list.
