FRANCONIA – The North Penn Knights bowling squad opened up their season against the Bears of Upper Moreland yesterday with both the boys and girls sweepingthe night winning four games to none.

High series for the girls were led by Jocelyn Wynkoop with a 564 followed by Jennifer Snyder with a 408 series. Upper Moreland’s high series was rolled by Kasey Kroll with a 449.

The boys were led by James Carnal with a 604 series including games of 206-187-211. Lucas Francis added a series of 599. Other high games for the Knights were Martin Grace with a 201, and Nate Tagert with a 203.

Upper Moreland’s AJ Borell had the best of the night with a very nice series of 226-201-241 for a 668 series
