Shreyash Ranjan: Vice President

Why are you running for this position?

“I am running to be the Student Council Vice President because I want to help the class of 2023. The main reason I am running is I want all of you, my friends, to have a very enjoyable year ahead so that you can do all of the activities that the student council plans. I have been in student council since 7th grade, so I feel as though I understand how the process works. I have helped and watched the past presidents do their job, and I am fully aware of the time that this job requires. I also understand what needs to be done in order to make this the best year possible. Therefore, I think I could do a great job in replicating the success in past years and bring more success for the future.”

What qualities do you have that make you the best candidate?

“I believe I have the qualifications and qualities to make me a great candidate for this position. The qualities that I possess for this position include teamwork, hard work, sincerity, and good communication skills. If elected, you will see these skills put to work very often throughout this school year. I have been on SGA for many years in the past and have worked with many different students and teachers at Penndale, ensuring I work hard and I work well with you all, the student body.”

What is one main goal you have for the 2020-2021 school year?

“My main goal for the 2020-2021 school year is to listen to you! This school year is unlike any other school year we have ever had. Instead of being disappointed and not being able to experience a traditional year, I would like to make this year the best year for sophomores ever. Now how will I do that? I want to achieve this goal by listening to all of you and come up with ideas so that WE can make this year extraordinary. I will work 110% for this amazing class of 2023 to ensure you all will have a memorable year.”
