1.What schools did you apply to?
James Madison University, Penn State University, University of Pittsburgh, West Chester University, West Virginia University, University of Maryland, Ohio State University
2.Where did you commit to, and why?
I committed to James Madison University. I committed there for a couple of reasons. First, both of my parents went there and I have looked up to them ever since I was little, so I am proud to be able to follow their footsteps. Secondly, when I visited JMU I really enjoyed it, I felt that the campus was much more open than the rest of my schools along with having strong academics and pathways for me. Finally I wanted to get out of Pennsylvania while also not being too far from home. JMU was the perfect mix of that being just about 5 hours from home but also a little down south.
3.What are your career/academic aspirations?
As of now, I was to pursue a career in the medical field. I am not sure exactly what I want to do but I am leaning towards a Physicians Assistant or possibly working towards going to med school to specialize as a physician or something along those lines.
4.What are you most excited about next year?
I am most excited to live somewhere new and meet tons of new people. I am excited to start another chapter in my life and expand on everything I know.
5.What is your favorite North Penn memory?
I have tons of great memories from North Penn but overall I would have to say the friends that I have made. I can still remember back in elementary school meeting my friends and growing older with them in and out of school. I am extremely thankful for everything that North Penn has given me.
