What schools did you apply to?

Penn State, Scranton, West Chester, Elizabethtown, Moravian, Albright, Widener, Loyola, Muhlenburg, and Kutztown

What school did you commit to and why?

I committed to Penn State University Park. I ultimately chose it because of its incredible school spirit and infinite opportunities. It’s just so big that there’s always gonna be something new to try…I mean, if they have a chicken nugget fan club or a club for people named “Bob”, there just HAS to be something there for everyone. 

What are your academic/career aspirations?

That’s a good question. I applied with a different major to each college (communications, biology, pre-med, English, secondary education, advertising/public relations) and I haven’t “officially” ruled out engineering. Therefore, I am majoring in “division of undergraduate studies” which is a very fancy way of saying undecided. I will comment on this article in four years to give y’all an update on what I got my degree in. 

What are you most excited for next year?

Meeting the Nittany Lion.

What is your favorite North Penn memory?

This question may be harder than picking a college, but I’d have to go with playing “Survive!” In Mr. Swindells’ creative writing class. That game was…I don’t think “interesting” describes it enough. I also enjoy all those awkward middle school moments like when I got to throw a pie in Mr. Bannak’s face and it went over his head.
