Clothes and style can really define a person. What you wear gives off your first impression to people and can even show your character off as well. Throughout the decade, there have been many popular clothing trends. On behalf of The Knight Crier, we showcase some of the most popular and trendy styles worn by many within the community and outside of it as well.

Jeans (Denim)

From jeans to jackets, denim has simply been an extremely prominent source of clothing throughout this decade. Denim comes in all sorts of styles including, jackets, shorts, skirts, shirts, and overalls. Jeans are the most popular style of denim, coming in different sizes and shades. Skinny jeans, ripped jeans all the way to bootcut jeans, denim has graced its way to modern culture in terms of clothing.

Vans

Arguably the most popular brand from the whole decade, Vans took the last 10 years by storm. What started off as a skateboarding shoe has turned into a world-renown brand that no longer produces just shoes. Vans is also known for its t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and other accessories as well. While the company is known for many products, its shoes are what made the company what it is today. Vans’ shoes come in many different shapes and sizes for all ages. Vans also allows you to customize your own shoes via their website to make your shoe uniquely yours. Vans has made their presence known in the 2010s, and who’s to say they will be slowing down heading into the 2020s?

Uggs

The ideal, comfortable winter shoe, there aren’t too many people who don’t own a pair of Uggs. The shoe that keeps your feet warm during the wintertime, Uggs are famously known for having fur-like material inside the shoe. Uggs come in many different shapes and sizes, from slippers to boots. Their dominance has been going on since the early 2010s, but it’s only a matter of time until they can come back in the 2020s

Joggers

The ultimate substitute for casual bottoms, jogger pants are becoming one of the most recognizable pieces of clothing heading into the 2020s. Pants that were made in the 90s but didn’t get popular until 2014, jogger pants are bottoms that are cuffed down to your ankles, made to be more comfortable than your usual khakis. Joggers are made from all different styles of clothing from sweatpants to denim. There is no doubt that joggers will continue its reign in the 2020s and perhaps even longer.

Brands such as Nike, Under Armour, Adidas and many more have all evolved in the past decade, excelling in shoes and clothes such as sweatshirts, shirts, sweatpants and more. These companies also produce accessories beneficial to you, the athlete.

These sandal-like shoes have been popular amongst teens who easily can slip on their shoes. While it’s more of a summertime wear, you can find teens wearing these types of shoes all year round.

Yeezys

The Kanye West produced sneaker shoe has spun 2015 and 2016 years into a craze. Often times, more people have questioned whether people who wore these shoes have fake ones instead of real ones. Although Yeezys have not been as popular within the last year or two, it would be interesting to see if the shoe will make a comeback heading into the 2020s.

Camouflage Clothing

An underrated theme of style, camouflage related clothing is beginning to be worn by more and more people across the globe. The style is depicted from the military look and from the large variety of sweatshirts, jackets, pants and even hats, it’s safe to say this style likely isn’t going anywhere.
