Matt Ryan, Atlanta: Matt Ryan has been the best quarterback in all of football so far this season, and he is currently leading the league in total passing yards and passing touchdowns. Now set for career highs in every stat category, Ryan looks to continue his dominance against a very porous Philadelphia Eagles secondary. With possibly the best receiver in all of football Julio Jones as his top target, the Falcons have been particularly deadly throughout the season torching defenses week in and week out. The Eagles have been getting exploited the past couple weeks by talented receivers like Odell Beckham Jr., for example, who scored two touchdowns against them last week. I’m expecting the Falcons to set the pace early on in this game, which looks like it will end up being a shootout, and Matt Ryan will be a crucial part of their success. I wouldn’t be surprised if he throws for over 300 yards and 3-4 touchdowns come Sunday. Get ready for another huge week from the next possible MVP.

Dak Prescott, Dallas: The biggest surprise of the season has been the new sensational rookie starting quarterback Dak Prescott. His play has been unreal, showing flashes of excellence week in and week out. With at least 3 total touchdowns in the past 3 games, Prescott is on fire and gets ready to face an awful Pittsburgh Steelers defense. The Steelers defense has been underwhelming to say the least so far this season, and if anyone has a good chance to continue exploiting their glaring holes, it would be Prescott. Not to mention the fact that Big Ben is now back for the Steelers, their offense should be clicking Sunday, turning this game into a passing clinic. I expect Prescott to continue his streak of at least 3 touchdowns a game on Sunday, making him a great start in any league.

Must Start RBs

Darren Sproles, Philadelphia: Head coach Doug Pederson announced this week that Darren Sproles is the new #1 back in Philadelphia and will start against the Atlanta Falcons this weekend. Sproles has always been very productive as a part of the Philadelphia Eagles, and now he finally gets his chance as the featured back. In the last two weeks with a larger workload, Sproles has ran for 86 and 57 yards, and he is now set to face a defense that has allowed 10 touchdowns to running backs this season. With big play potential every time he touches the ball, Sproles is a good bet to find the end zone at least once or twice and combine for somewhere around 80-100 yards with the touches now being there.

David Johnson, Arizona: David Johnson is a clear must start each and every week from this point on, as he is the second highest scoring running back in all of fantasy football right now. But the reason he makes my list this week is because he gets the San Francisco 49ers (the worst run defense in all of football) at home. The 49ers have allowed at least 100 rushing yards a game for 7 straight contests, including Week 5, where the one and only David Johnson ran for 157 yards and two touchdowns against them. If you are a 49ers fan, which is very unfortunate in itself, get ready for a rough day, because it is very possible that Johnson will run for 150-200 yards and find the end zone at least once or twice.

Must Start WRs

Julian Edelman, New England: The last time Julian Edelman played the Seattle Seahawks was Super Bowl XLIX, where he went off racking up 109 yards and a touchdown on 9 catches. The always unpredictable versatile receiver also added a carry for 7 yards as well, but this week the long awaited Super Bowl rematch has finally arrived. Edelman looks to finally get back on track this season in a game where Terrific Tom very well may consistently look his way. With Seattle most likely keying in on the presence that is Rob Gronkowski and what he is capable of doing on deep balls, Edelman should have many chances across the middle of the field and short. This is where he excels and where Tom Brady is absolutely deadly from. Edelman could very well end up a top 5 fantasy wide out this week and is a must start, especially if you’re lucky enough to have him in ppr formats.

Tyrell Williams, San Diego: Tyrell Williams has been a pleasant surprise this season, averaging 15.6 ypr with 3 touchdowns. Coming off a week where he had 6 catches and found the end zone, he looks primed for another good game as he plays the mediocre at best Miami Dolphins. And with #1 receiver Travis Benjamin doubtful to suit up Sunday, he will see a higher uptick in usage and targets, which is always a good thing when it comes to scoring points in fantasy. With Philip Rivers also finding his groove of late, Tyrell Williams becomes a very good play this week and possess a huge upside.

Must Start TEs

Zach Ertz, Philadelphia: So far this season Zach Ertz has really let down just about every believer he had coming into the season. Most people’s breakout candidate at the tight end position had really shown nothing coming into last week, but that all changed as he went off for 97 yards on 8 total catches against a streaky Giants defense. Coming off the strong performance, he now gets the Atlanta Falcons at home in a for sure offensive shootout where he should be heavily relied on throughout the game. It should also help that the Falcons are horrendous at covering tight ends; they have allowed a touchdown to a tight end in almost every single game this season. Everything is pointing up for Ertz this week, and I strongly believe he will build off last week’s performance this Sunday.

Lance Kendricks, St. Louis: Kendricks has made a name for himself in recent weeks and has been a very popular pickup in most leagues. This is for good reason as the St. Louis Rams tight end has at least 7 catches in both of his last two games and in the game prior to those two he found the end zone. This week he plays the very shaky New York Jets defense, who have really struggled against just about every tight end this season including last week where they got exploited by Dominique Jones. Kendricks should see plenty of targets as the Rams have an extreme lack of talent at the wide receiver position and large amounts of targets usually come along with a good amount of fantasy points, leading Kendricks to be a very solid play this week in any format.

Sneaky Streamer Start

Jay Cutler, Chicago: Cutler looked extremely good last Monday night in his return against the always dangerous Minnesota Vikings. He seemed to be playing with a purpose, which is something that has become rare to see from Cutler and the Chicago Bears as a whole. This week he gets the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have been one of the absolute worst defenses in the league this season. The Buccaneers are in the top 5 for most fantasy points allowed per game to Quarterbacks and have been particularly torched of late. Though the Buccaneers tend to struggle mightily on defense, their offense can put points on the board in a hurry. This is another reason why all signs are pointing towards a big day from Cutler as he will be forced to pass early and often. If your quarterback is on a bye this week or injured, and you have the opportunity to slot in Cutler, I’d strongly advise it.
