Cary Angeline of Downingtown Eest catches a pass in the Cougars’ win over Coatesville.

Bidey: Cary Angeline and the prolific cougar offense will be too much for the Colonials in this one. Look for East to make a statement to the rest of the district.
41-17 Downingtown East

Brett: Downingtown East should come out on top in this game, with a record of 10-0 and a great defense and determined offense this team sitting in rank one, should plow over number 16 seed Plymouth-Whitemarsh.
41-20 Downingtown East

NP’s Reece Udinski passes against Souderton in the Knights National Conference victory over the Indians this season.

Bidey: The big play threats of Ricky Johns and Nyfease West coupled with Junior quarterback Reece Udinski should allow the Knights to roll past Unionville in this one. The depth of North Penn will overwhelm the Indians in this one.
37-10 North Penn

Brett: The game between Unionville and North Penn should be a tight game. Having the same Win to Loss ratio this will be a nail biter, but in the end North Penn will come out on top. They’re determination will send them on to the second round of playoffs.
21-18 North Penn

4 Spring-Ford v. 13 Neshaminy

Bidey: Although on paper this looks like an easy decision, I am not convinced that Spring-Ford is for real. They don’t play any stiff competition in the PAC 10 and their wins against weak competition don’t impress me. Neshaminy on the other hand has a long storied tradition of excellence and are coming off of a huge statement win against their archrival Pennsbury. While the game won’t be played at Heartbreak Ridge, I still like Neshaminy over Chad Brubaker’s Rams.
24-17 Neshaminy

Brett: In the game against Spring-Ford and Neshaminy, Seed number 4; Spring-Ford should come out on top with the win. The comparison in stats between the two teams are close but in every category Spring-Ford has a better chance in winning.
27-20 Spring-Ford

5 CB East v. 12 Quakertown
Bidey: East has already proven that they can beat Quakertown, handing them their first loss of the season in week 8. Fresh off of a big win over archrival West, look for the Patriots to comfortably slide into next week over an overestimated Quakertown team.
31-20 CB East

Brett: In the past Central Bucks East has come out on top of Quakertown only by one point. Although CBE is ranked 5th and Quakertown is ranked 12th they have the same win to loss record so they game should be tight but I would believe Quakertown will come out on top with determination to push pass CBE.
19-18 Quakertown

6 Upper Darby v. 11 Council Rock North

Rock North’s Brandon Mcillwain throwing a pass during the 2015 season

Bidey: Brandon McIlwain. Enough said.
37-24 CR North

Brett: Upper Darby (6) vs. Council Rock North (11) Upper Darby should come out on top in this game, with their record being 9-1 they’re going to dominate the game over Council Rock North who has a record of 7-3
31-20 Upper Darby

3 Upper Dublin v. 14 Garnet Valley

Bidey: Ryan Stover and his father coach Bret Stover have led this explosive Cardinal offense to a 10-0 season, in which they mercy ruled 8 teams. They may not play the stiffest of competition in District One, but his team is legitimate.
35-21 Upper Dublin

Brett: Upper Dublin will come out with a win against Garnet Valley and get them to continue on into the second round of playoffs.
27-19 Upper Dublin

7 Haverford v. 10 Perk Valley

Bidey: I know I knocked Spring-Ford earlier for coming from the weak PAC 10, however I think the Ford’s 41-3 loss to Downingtown West is enough to convince me that in this “battle of the bads” the Vikings will come out on top.
24-20 Perk Valley

Brett: Haverford who is (9-1) will play first round PIAA District One against Perk Valley who is also (9-1). This game will be a close match between the two teams will be a good game. Although Haverford is ranked 7th and Perk Valley who is Ranked 10th, they are only 1 point apart. But in the end Haverford will come out on top with the win.
27-24 Haverford

2 Downingtown West v. 15 Pennsbury

Bidey: Although both teams are coming off of a loss to their bitter rivals, Downingtown West lost to the number one seed (undefeated Downingtown East) while the Falcons dropped their final game to Neshaminy. Gaylen Snyder’s squad has struggled in big games this year, and I have no reason to believe that they will turn out a miracle against arguably the second best team in the district on Friday night. West’ll roll.
38-20 Downingtown West

Brett: In the game against Downingtown West who is ranked 2nd will win and overcome Pennsbury who is ranked 15th and trails them by 19 points. They should defeat Pennsbury no problem.
38-27 Downingtown West
