TOWAMENCIN – It is November, and when it comes to high school football that means that for some teams, all the hard work, time, and sacrifice over the last calendar year will now be put to the ultimate test – win or go home. The PIAA District 1 playoffs will kickoff on Friday night and for North Penn, the road to the postseason was certainly no smooth ride. After dropping two of their first three to tough non-conference opponents, the Knights suffered a week five conference setback at the hands of CB South. But since then, it has been all North Penn. The Knights have reeled off five straight wins and have outscored their opponents 169-54 over that span. They will take that momentum into West Chester Henderson on Friday night at 7pm as the #9 seed in the District 1 Tournament. The winner then faces the winner of the Coatesville (1) vs. Haveford (16) game the following week.

Here is a look at the complete PIAA AAAA District 1 bracket.
