Teachers, board approve 2 year contract agreement
January 16, 2015
LANSDALE – Both the North Penn Education Association and the North Penn School Board of Directors have approved the terms of a new collective bargaining agreement. The previous contract expired on June 30, 2014, and teachers have been working under the terms of the previous contract since then.
Negotiations between the teachers’ union and the board were held through that duration, which culminated in a mediator’s report that was approved today by both the NPEA and the NPSB. For more details on the contract, see The Reporter video feeds at http://www.tout.com/m/4sssoj?ref=twtgavu7.
