So many great treats to eat around the Holidays!

Holidays are about love, family, giving, and world peace. These times are great for some and hard for others, but one thing everyone has in common is their love for desserts. Here are the top 10 best holiday treats.

#1: Chocolate chip cookies

Chocolate chip cookies are a basic holiday treat many families make every year. It is number one because it is simple and easy to make. These can be made with loved ones, for yourself, or others.

#2: Chocolate Mousse

Chocolate Mousse is a little more difficult to make, but so rich in flavor. After eating it, you might need a little water, but it is so airy and fluffy. This is a good dessert for really any occasion. It also can last for a while if you make enough of it and store it in the fridge.

#3: Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Coffee cake is perfect for anyone, which is what puts it so high. It is best if accompanied by a beverage since it is a little dry. This one takes more effort and more time, which means it’s more difficult to make quickly.

#4: Gingerbread Man Cookies

Gingerbread cookies are a good thing to make because they are fun. Although they are not the best tasting, it is a fun activity to let your creativity be expressed. You can make and decorate them or buy and decorate some on your own.

#5: Cheesecake

Any cheesecake is a fan favorite. It is probably one of the more difficult desserts to make because it has more steps and ingredients. Cheesecake can have many different flavors and kinds, so it’s great for everyone to enjoy.

#6: Fruit cakes

Fruit cake is another traditional dessert a lot of families make. This one is good because it has a very balanced taste, but it is hard to make and get perfect. Depending on what fruits you use

#7: Flan

This is a less traditional dessert that is extremely difficult to make. This is good for a twist on a holiday dinner. The dessert is jello-like with an interesting taste and can be topped with different fruits and glazes, which allows you to add your liking to it.

#8: Pie

Pies are great for everybody, making this dessert so common and popular. You can choose any fruit to make it out of.  That lets people’s particular likings be exposed.

#9: Pudding

Pudding can be a hit or miss depending on who makes it and what flavors, but it is simple to make. Although it’s not always enjoyable, many people continue to make it because it is so easy to do fast.

#10: Peppermint Bark

Going to a holiday party, you will most likely see peppermint bark there. This is another treat with more steps and many ingredients, so it may take a little longer than the rest to make. It is very festive, but not the best in flavor, which is why it is rated too slow.

No matter how you celebrate, or if you do at all, taking a try at a fun holiday recipe will always lighten your mood, and appetite! Happy Holidays from our family to yours,
