Disney Food Review: Epcot

Welcome back to another Robinson Review. This week I tried food at Epcot in Disney World.

Connections Eatery:
Southwestern Burger
$13.79
Gourmet Beef Blend,Roasted Corn-Chipotle Salsa, Oaxaca Cheese Crema, Chamoy, Guacamole Spread, Toasted Bun

This burger that I had was pretty good. Overall the burger was really good. The thing that made the burger unique was the Chamoy. If you don’t know what Chamoy is, it’s a Mexican style sauce made from pickled fruit. It has a pasty texture and is a burnt red color. It had a sweet taste that I wasn’t really expecting, but it was good. All sandwiches are served with fries too. So when you’re paying such high prices for food, it really isn’t terrible because you get a side too.

Connections Eatery:
Liege Waffle
$5.49
Brioche Dough with Pearl Sugar, Strawberries, Whipped Cream, Chocolate Sauce

At the same restaurant that I got the Southwestern burger, I got a Liege Waffle. The waffle wasn’t really anything special. It was really good though. It had a bit too much extra sugar for my liking. The sugar was kind of clumped on the bottom so every bite you took you basically got a mouth full of pearl sugar. Although $5.49 is kind of a steep price for a dessert, I didn’t mind paying that much because sometimes you need a sweet treat to break up your meals.

Kabuki Cafe:
Kakigöri with Sweet Milk Topping
$7.00
Japanese Shaved Ice, Blue Raspberry

Unlike the other foods I tried in Epcot, this was in the Japan area of Epcot. The shaved ice was really good with the sweet milk topping. I probably wouldn’t get it if I wasn’t in Disney. I think $7 is overpriced for a simple shaved ice with a little bit of topping. I did get it anyway though because all food is gonna be overpriced in Disney.

Club Cool:
At club cool you can try Coca-Cola products from around the world. Disney influencers on TikTok and YouTube say this is a must stop when you are in Epcot. This drink stop is also a gift shop. Trying these drinks is a free experience. The worst flavor in my opinion was Beverly which is a drink from Italy. It tastes like licorice and the bottom of a shoe; it truest is the worst one. The best flavored drink was the Russian sprite. It was cucumber flavor mixed with the original lemon lime taste of the sprite. Other drinks included apple lychee Joy from Korea, sour plum Smart from China, BonBon Anglais from Madagascar and Country Club from the Dominican Republic. Overall, these drinks weren’t bad.
