Almost Home: Davey and Furball

Davey and Furball are two of many dogs at the Almost Home Dog Rescue looking to be adopted.

As the weather gets warmer, more and more dogs are in search of a place to spend the rest of their lives. This week, it’s “double trouble” with Davey and Furball!

Every year, thousands of animals find their forever home through various shelters and foster programs. Almost Home is an organization that does just that: they work tirelessly with the help of volunteers and foster parents to help their furry friends become adopted.

Davey is a mix of a Labrador Retriever and a hound. He’s a sweet, 3-4 month old pup who loves to play. This pooch is happy and healthy, ready for a nice family to adopt him!

Furball, on the other hand, is an Eskimo/Corgi mix. He came all the way from China after being saved from losing his life. Furball is good with dogs, people, and cats… most of the time! He would be most comfortable in a house with adults and older or no kids. He’s 2 years young and weighs about 25 pounds.

If you or someone you know is interested in adopting either Davey or Furball, check out the Almost Home Rescue website for more information! Also, there’s a link below to the main homepage where you can find other ways to help, such as becoming a volunteer, donating to the cause, or fostering a dog.
