Looking for a pup with personality? Tortie may be the one for you!

Every year, thousands of animals find their forever home through various shelters and foster programs. Almost Home is an organization that does just that: they work tirelessly with the help of volunteers and foster parents to help their furry friends become adopted.

Tortie is a 5 year old Labrador Retriever mix. She weighs about 56 pounds and has lots of energy! This pup is both spayed and micro chipped, and in addition to that, she’s crate trained. Tortie catches on to new things pretty quickly – making her easy to train.

She gets along with other dogs, but would prefer to have a mellower dog as a companion. Tortie would also enjoy a fenced in yard, as she loves being outdoors. All around, she’s a motivated, sweet dog who would love to find her forever home.

If you or someone you know is interested in adopting Tortie, check out the Almost Home Rescue website for more information! Also, there’s a link below to the main homepage where you can find other ways to help, such as becoming a volunteer, donating to the cause, or fostering a dog.
