Are you interested in adding a furry friend to your family? If so, Duke may be the one for you.

Every year, thousands of animals find their forever home through various shelters and foster programs. Almost Home is an organization that does just that: they work tirelessly with the help of volunteers and foster parents to help their furry friends become adopted.

This week, Duke is in search of a family. He’s a Red Tick Coon Hound and is 2 years old. Duke has already been neutered, weighs 70 pounds, and is fantastic with both humans and other dogs. This furry friend has grown up as a house pet and knows both sit and (mostly) shake! Additionally, Duke has been house-trained.

Because he is a larger boy, it’s preferable that he has a large yard to play and run around in. He needs room to stretch!

If you or someone you know is interested in adopting Duke, check out the Almost Home Rescue website for more information! Also, there’s a link below to the main homepage where you can find other ways to help, such as becoming a volunteer, donating to the cause, or fostering a dog.
