Unmasking T-Pain

Who knew T-Pain could be such a monster? No, no…not like that. I am referring to the show ‘The Masked Singer’. That’s right! Taking first place, disguised as the monster, T-Pain came on top last night, a victory that could change his singing career forever, as people now have the opportunity to truly appreciate his natural voice. He may be a talented rapper, but his cover of “Stay With Me” was definitely one to remember.

The first season of ‘The Masked Singer’ is finally over after premiering on January 2nd, 2019. All 12 masked singers have been revealed. Below are the results in rank order from 12th place to 1st place.

12. Hippo (a.k.a Antonio Brown)

Antonio Tavaris Brown Sr. is an American football wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. Raised in Liberty City, Miami, Brown attended Miami Norland High School where he played both football and track.

11. Pineapple (a.k.a Tommy Chong)

Thomas B. Kin Chong is a Canadian-American actor, writer, director, musician, activist for cannabis-rights and comedian who is known for his marijuana-themed Cheech & Chong comedy albums and movies with Cheech Marin, as well as playing the character Leo on Fox’s That ’70s Show.

10. Deer (a.k.a Terry Bradshaw)

Terry Paxton Bradshaw is a former American football quarterback who played professionally in the National Football League. Since 1994, he has been a TV sports analyst and co-host of Fox NFL Sunday.

9. Poodle (a.k.a Margaret Cho)

Margaret Moran Cho is an American stand-up comedian, actress, fashion designer, author, and singer-songwriter. Cho is best known for her stand-up routines, through which she critiques social and political problems, especially regarding race and sexuality.

8. Unicorn (a.k.a Tori Spelling)

Victoria Davey Spelling is an American actress, television personality, socialite and author. She is most widely known from her first major role, Donna Martin, on Beverly Hills, 90210 beginning in 1990, produced by her father, Aaron.

7. Raven (a.k.a Ricki Lake)

Ricki Pamela Lake is an American actress, television presenter and producer. Lake is best known for her lead role as Tracy Turnblad in the 1988 film Hairspray. She is also known for her talk show which was broadcast internationally from September 1993 until May 2004.

6. Alien (a.k.a La Toya Jackson)

La Toya Yvone Jackson is an American singer, songwriter, actress, businesswoman and television personality. The fifth child of the Jackson family, Jackson first gained recognition on the family’s variety television series, The Jacksons, on CBS between 1976 and 1977.

5. Lion (a.k.a Rumer Willis)

Rumer Glenn Willis is an American actress and singer. She is the eldest daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. Willis won season 20 of Dancing with the Stars. She went on to make her Broadway debut in Chicago as Roxie Hart on September 21, 2015.

4. Rabbit (a.k.a Joey Fatone)

Joseph Anthony Fatone Jr. is an American singer, dancer, actor, and television personality. He is best known as a member of the boyband NSYNC, in which he sang baritone. In 2007, he came in second place on the ABC reality show Dancing with the Stars.

3. Bee (a.k.a Gladys Knight)

Gladys Maria Knight, known as the “Empress of Soul”, is an American singer, songwriter, actress, businesswoman, and author.

2. Peacock (a.k.a Donny Osmond)

Donald Clark Osmond is an American singer, dancer, actor, and former teen idol. Osmond has also been a talk and game show host, record producer and author. In the mid-1960s, he and four of his elder brothers gained fame as the Osmonds.

1. Monster (a.k.a T-Pain)

Faheem Rasheed Najm, better known by his stage name T-Pain, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. His debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga, was released in 2005. In 2007, T-Pain released his second album Epiphany, which reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart.
