Penndale Theatre to present “The Little Mermaid”

LANSDALE- Sitting in the middle of the Penndale auditorium is an experience like no other. In one corner, Chef Louis is working on some culinary choreography. In another, members of the ensemble are rolling around, literally (wheeled sneakers are a special element of the show), working on a scene. Behind them, other cast and crew members try to figure out what scene is coming next, in two words that truly capture the essence of any dress rehearsal; controlled chaos.

But in a moment, that controlled chaos dissipates, and a cohesive run through of “Kiss the Girl” takes its place.

“Kiss the Girl” is just one of over a dozen songs that will be featured in Penndale Theatre’s upcoming production of The Little Mermaid. For months, the more than 100 students involved in the cast, crews, and pit have put in hundreds of hours of dedication to put on a stellar show and continue the legacy of Penndale Theatre.

[The kids] have truly made this come alive, and you have to come see all of the magic they have created!
