North Penn Girls Volleyball Senior Highlight

As we approach North Penn Girls Volleyball senior night, we wanted to highlight the seniors themselves that are leading the way for the younger girls who will one day be in their place!


Brooke Moffa, Katie Mumford, Kiley McTaggart, and Zoe Hunsberger are wrapping up their senior season on the volleyball court.

Katie Mumford

  • Years played: 3 years
  • Position(s): middle hitter and right-side hitter
  • Fun fact about yourself: “I’m a twin.”
  • Favorite memory with NPGVB: “The bus rides home with everyone singing after the game.”
  • Advice for underclassmen: “Don’t be afraid to try something new. Always play like it’s your last time and always remember to have fun!”
  • College Plans: “Hoping to go to Penn State in the fall to study speech pathology with a minor in special education.”

Kiley McTaggart

  • Years played: 4 years Varsity
  • Position(s): right side
  • Fun fact about yourself: “I’m left-handed.”
  • Favorite memory with NPGVB: “Winning our conference.”
  • Advice for underclassmen: “Don’t compare yourself to other people.”
  • College Plans: “Play volleyball at Salisbury university and major in Finance.”

Zoe Hunsberger

  • Years played: 2 years JV, 2 years Varsity
  • Position(s): DS
  • Fun fact about yourself: “I have a niece.”
  • Favorite memory with NPGVB: “Acing a girl who is D1.”
  • Advice for underclassmen: “If you love it, stick with it and push yourself to do things you never thought you’d be able to do.”
  • College Plans: “Major in Pre-Law at the University of Pittsburg.”
