Test your luck at a shot at winning any of the prizes in the image shown above by simply filling out a google form courtesy of the North Penn SGA. You’ll be able to find that google form in your email starting the first week we get back from Thanksgiving Break.

The 2020-2021 school year has brought drought to many North Penn High School club activities– with student government facing no exception. There are so many events that could have been but weren’t brought to fruition for obvious reasons. The Student Government Association did what they could with homecoming, but there are events that have zero chance of taking place this year: the Homecoming dance being a huge one. But you might remember Wish Week.

It was introduced to the high school for the first time last year and its main goal was to show the students at North Penn how much the SGA cared for them. Wish Week is one of the events on the rare list of, “things still happening this school year.” But like every event allowed this year, there will be some changes.

“We are super excited to introduce this new version of Wish Week because we feel there has been a lack of school spirit and things to look forward to this year. We want to give back and hopefully put smiles on people’s faces and spread some positivity in a year so dreadful,” explained SGA Vice-President Maura Schaeffer.

And these changes are undoubtedly for the better. There are two big changes that will affect Wish Week this year. The first one being, it is free to enter! No longer do students have to purchase a $2-raffle-ticket to enter into the raffle. All you have to do is look over your email starting the first week we get back from Thanksgiving Break (November 30th to December 4th) and fill out a google form. After that week, you will no longer be able to enter into the raffle.

The other big change the SGA is making is that last year there were only a total of 5 prizes that students could have won. And the most notable of those were Airpods and Sixers tickets. This year, an “upgrade” is an understatement in terms of prizes you can win this year compared to last. By simply filling out a google form, you are going to give yourself an opportunity to win these prizes for FREE:

  • Air pods (1st and 2nd Gen)
  • Apple Watch Series 3
  • A Speaker
  • Polaroid Camera
  • LED Lights
  • Ring Lights
  • YETI Cup
  • Class of 2021 Apparel (obviously only seniors are eligible to win this prize)
  • Google Home Mini
  • Amazon’s Alexa
  • And a Hydroflask (32oz and/or 40oz)

If you win a prize, and you can only win one, it will be delivered to your house during the week of Winter Break when we are in school, so from Monday the 21st to Wednesday the 23rd.

If you have any questions regarding the event, feel free to shoot the NPSGA account on Instagram a direct message or leave a comment on this article.
