June has arrived! Graduation and the end of the school year are in sight for North Penn School. With so much happening before the end of the year, here is what is going on at North Penn this week:

Sports: Results

  • Boys V Volleyball lost to State College 3-0
  • Girls V Softball beat Pennsbury 4-0
  • Girls V Softball lost to Downingtown West 3-2

    • NPHS Memorial Garden Ceremony will be held at 6:00pm
    • NPHS Spring Sports Recognition will be held at 7:00pm

    • Robotics Club will meet at North Montco 6:00-8:00pm
    • Girls Cross Country will hold an interest meeting in J13 at 2:30pm
    • NMTCC Senior Recognition night will begin at 7:00pm

    • NPHS Senior Awards Ceremony will be held at 6:00pm

Announcements:

  • Juniors, there is class trip information packets outside of F40 and a printable one on Google Classroom (oo63v8j). Payments for the trip are now being taken in any amount.
  • The North Penn Boys and Girls Club is offering free weight room memberships to those ages 16-18. If you are interested, you can pick up a form outside the Athletic Office.
  • Seniors can exempt finals. This can be two year-long courses or one year-long course and two semester courses, or 4 semester courses. Students must have an A in all marking periods of the course. Students wish to exempt a course must let their teacher know prior to the exam to be added to the exemption list.
  • Parking passes for the 2019-2020 school year are available in Sophomore and Junior home offices.
  • Class of 2020 Senior Portraits sign ups have begun! Schedule your appointment at www.ouryear.com or by calling 1-800-687-9327. Our school code is 415. More information is available at this link.
  • There will be a North Montco TCC Driver’s Ed Summer Session July 8th to July 23rd. There will be classroom sessions and behind the wheel training.   • Sophomores who are looking to get more involved during their Junior year can join Class Cabinet. All sophomores have been emailed a google form to apply for the 2021 Class Cabinet. Complete this form by Tuesday June 4th and sign up for a mini interview. If you have any questions, you can contact Ms. Jermain.
  • The yearbook will be distributed on Thursday the 6th. Students that ordered a yearbook will receive a cherry-colored slip to pick up their yearbook in the Columbia Gym during first period. Students who do not have a first period and ordered a yearbook can pick it up in their home office. Extra copies of the yearbook will be on sale during lunch on Friday June 7th. The sale is first come- first served basis and the cost is $95, cash only.
  • Tickets for Senior Class Night will be sold during lunch through Tuesday June 4th. The cost is $5 and no tickets will be sold at the door. This event is the last informational event for Seniors and will be held in the courtyard.
  • All personal items need to be removed from all PE lockers by June 7th.
  • Days till summer break: 10
