March is kicking off as winter sports and activities come to a close and the spring ones begin. Hold on North Penn, there’s only one month till spring break. Here is what is going on this week at North Penn:

Announcements:

  • Class of 2020 Junior Prom will be held March 23. Tickets will be sold March 4-8 for $30 or March 11-13 for $35. All obligations earned through February 26th must be cleared prior to purchasing your ticket.
  • The Black History Oratorical Competition semi-finalists will present their poems and speeches at a competition at Pennfield Middle School on Tuesday March 19th. A elementary, middle, and high schooler will be selected as a finalist and will perform at the International Spring Festival April 27th.
  • Tickets for North Penn High School’s production of Mamma Mia! are on sale now. Mamma Mia! opens May 2 through 4 at 7:30 PM and May 5 at 2:00 pm. Adult tickets are $10 and Student Tickets are $5. You can purchase using ticket order forms in the K-Pod Reception Office or Teacher Mailroom or purchase online. All information at www.npenn.org/theatre!
  • The North Penn Boys and Girls Club is offering free weight room memberships to those ages 16-18. If you are interested you can pick up a form outside the Athletic Office.
  • Seniors who are looking to go to Montgomery Community College next year can go on a field trip to the college to tour and get questions answered. This will occur on April 2nd. See Ms. Jermain in C35 or Mr. Brett in the college and career center to sign up and get a permission slip.
  • National Honor Society will be holding a book drive from 3/11-3/15. Please drop off new or gently used books to A22 or A24. If you are a member of NHS you can get service hours by donating a bag of books with your name on it at the meeting that will be held on 3/13.
  • Juniors, there is class trip information packets outside of F40 and a printable one on Google Classroom (oo63v8j). Payments for the trip are being taken now in any amount.
  • MCCC tour field trip forms are due 3/29.
