LANSDALE – We are thrilled to announce the North Penn School District (NPSD) has recently been ranked the 27th best district in the state of Pennsylvania by Niche.com in accordance to their new ranking system.

Niche offers a service called Niche K-12 which, according to the site, “offers unique insight into more than 120,000 K-12 schools [where] students and parents can explore millions of reviews and rankings and compare educational outcomes across schools and districts.”

Niche recently released its rankings for schools on both a statewide and national level. Niche.com classified thousands of districts based on a variety of statistics and over 27 million public opinions from 300,000 students and parents.

They gave each school district a grade ranging from “A+” to “”F-” in categories including Academics, Administration & Policy, Educational Outcomes, Extracurriculars, Food, Health & Safety, Resource & Facility, Sports & Fitness, Student Culture & Diversity and Teachers. NPSD scored A’s in all but one category.

From the 405 public opinion reviews, many of which came from current students and alumni, more than three quarters were positive. “It’s amazing because everyone fits in somewhere, but you have to put the effort in to figure out where that is,” an anonymous Niche User reported on June 7, 2015 in reference to the Student Culture & Diversity category.

On behalf of the North Penn School District, we would like to thank our students, staff and families for their continued hard work to maintain the superior level of excellence and integrity for which NPSD is so well known.
