A season of twists and blindsides finally ends after a grand total of 99 days in the Big Brother House. Sixteen strangers entered the game and were immediately forced to socialize and form secret alliances. From the start, the alliance “Level 6”, consisting of Tyler, Kaycee, Brett, Winston, Rachel, and Angela, was a dominant group of individuals capturing different aspects of the game.

The other side of the house consisted of Haleigh, Rockstar, Bayleigh, Swaggy C, Faysal, and Scottie, leaving a few wildcards, such as Sam, JC, and Kaitlyn at most times.

One by one the houseguests were picked off, and as it got closer to the live finale, it became more and more unclear what will transpire.

Tyler had a total of four final two deals, JC was getting into people’s heads, Angela formed feelings for Tyler, plus much more.

Then came the final 4…Tyler, Kaycee, JC, and Angela.

Head of Household Day arrived. JC finally won a competition, securing his spot in the final three. This gave him the opportunity to take a shot at the romantic duo, putting Tyler and Angela on the block. Kaycee won the final Veto Competition and chose to take her final two with her, evicting the fitness model.

The final head of household competition consisted of three parts:

Part One – Tyler holds onto the flying rockets the longest, sending him to part three.

Part Two – Kaycee barely beats JC in a houseguest memorization competition, sending her to the final part against Tyler.

Part Three – Kaycee and Tyler end up with the same score, having both answered the same for every question regarding facts about the jury members. This forces them to go into a tiebreaker, where Kaycee is only 13 seconds off from the correct answer, giving her a spot in the final two.

Kaycee once again remained loyal to Tyler, choosing him over JC.

Immediately after the final eviction, the jury, consisting of Bayleigh, Rockstar, Scottie, Faysal, Haleigh, Angela, Sam, Brett, and JC, cast their votes for the winner of Big Brother Season 20.

Winning by a vote of 5 to 4, Kaycee took home the $500,000. Tyler walked out of the game with the second place prize of $50,000, plus $25,000 for being voted America’s Favorite Houseguest.

From my standpoint, this season has topped the others tremendously. Kaycee deserved to win the game due to her social and physical gameplay. I was excited to see that JC did not advance into the final two. The only thing he accomplished game related was winning one head of household…towards the end of the season, which isn’t that impressive.

Personally, I would have liked to see Sam make it further. Tyler should not have made a final two that he wasn’t willing to uphold. I was crushed to see Sam walk out of that house.

Speaking of Tyler, I agree he had a strong game, but I disagree that he should have made it that far. He was breaking deals left and right, which ultimately led to his second place spot, not first.

Although not everything turned out the way I would have liked, as I said, it was still an incredible season.

Overall, BB20 was filled with friendships, drama, and everything in between. Now it is time to see what the next season of Celebrity Big Brother will bring.
