LANSDALE – The North Penn School District was recently placed on the Advanced Placement (AP) District Honor Roll List. NPSD is one of 477 school districts from across the country and Canada who were placed on the 4th Annual Honor Roll by the College Board.
School districts were selected for simultaneously increasing access to AP coursework while increasing the percentages of students earning scores of a three or higher on an AP exam. Increasing both participation and the number of students earning a three or higher on the exam is an ideal scenario for a district’s AP program because it indicates that the district is successfully identifying motivated, academically prepared students who are likely to benefit most from rigorous AP coursework.
