Why are you running for this position?
“I’m running for the Vice President because I’ve loved being in leadership positions in the past, and I thought that it would be really fun to continue participating in them this year. I enjoy helping out other students and planning events for the school, so I would love to have a larger part in creating new ideas for our school through the Vice President position.”
What qualities do you have that make you the best candidate?
“The qualities that make me the best candidate for Vice President are my strong public speaking skills, natural leadership, and my outgoing personality. I was a student leader at Pennbrook, which allowed me to be able to use my leadership skills to encourage students to participate in activities, spirit days, and events. I have no trouble speaking in front of a large group, and I really enjoy it as well. I am a very talkative and extroverted person, which someone in a leadership position must be to interact with their co-officers as well as the rest of the student body.”
What is one main goal you have for the 2020-2021 school year?
“One goal that I have for the 2020-2021 school year is to simply create a happy and fun environment even in these tough times with the pandemic. While keeping everyone safe, I would love to create new ideas for events that we could still have while following the COVID-19 guidelines. I would also like to talk to the sophomore class about what types of things they would be interested in, so we can have events that the student body would participate in. If elected as Vice President this year, I would make sure to interact with my class to ensure a positive school year for everyone.”
