Looking for something new and different to eat in the North Penn region, then why don’t you check out Mercy’s Bakery.

Mercy’s Bakery is a new, family-owned business in Lansdale. It’s located at 505 South Broad Street, Lansdale, right in the Pavilion Shopping Center. The location in Lansdale might be new, but Mercy’s Bakery has been in business for over 30 years.  Their original location, which is still open, is in Norristown.

Mercy’s Bakery offers a wide variety of baked goods such as cookies, pastries and cakes.  In fact, they make custom cakes for parties and events.

I recently had the opportunity to go there to pick up some desserts.  I tried their Oreo Tres Leches Cake, Strawberry Danish, Napolitano and Filled Donut Vanilla Cream.  I thoroughly enjoyed tasting each of the desserts.  The servings sizes are large, so plan on sharing them or you’re going to have leftovers.

Mercy’s Bakery doesn’t just sell baked goods, they also offer hot foods for every meal of the day, including tamales, Mexican paninis, breakfast burritos, soups and salads, just to name a few.

During my recent visit, I also ordered a tamale.  I’ve never had a tamale before, but I thought it was pretty good.

Even if you’re just thirsty, Mercy’s Bakery has you covered.  They also have several options of smoothies and juices.

Mercy’s Bakery has something for everyone to enjoy.  Don’t want to take my word for it, then stop in and give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
