What do North Penn students eat?

TOWAMENCIN- The clock is slowly ticking. There’s only a few seconds left in the period. You’re slowly losing patience but the excitement continues to build in your stomach.

Your stomach begins to growl.

The bell rings.

Lunch.

It’s that time of day where students can finally take a break, have conversations, do homework, and eat. With over 3,000 students at North Penn High School, there’s an abundance of different types of meals that students eat during their lunch period. But what is everyone eating?

For the majority of those who pack their lunch, their main meal could be:

  1. Peanut butter and jelly
  2. Ham sandwiches
  3. Turkey and cheese sandwiches
  4. Egg sandwiches
  5. Salad
  6. Hummus and pita
  7. Burritos

This also includes some possible snacks as a side:

  1. Granola bars
  2. Popcorn
  3. Cheese sticks
  4. Fruit
  5. Nut mix
  6. Yogurt
  7. Chips

For those who choose to buy lunch, these are some choices:

  1. Chicken quesadilla
  2. Thanksgiving meal
  3. Fries
  4. Frozen yogurt
  5. Mozzarella sticks
  6. Burgers
  7. Breadsticks
  8. Chicken tempura
