What schools did you apply to?

I applied to the Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and West Point, along with 18 other  well known private/public schools.

Where did you commit to and why?

I will attend a year of preparatory school at the Georgia Military College, and then attend the Naval Academy. I committed there mostly to continue my family’s legacy of military service since the Civil War, giving back to my country, and to be part of a team bigger than myself. Additionally, I was also recruited to play Division 1 women’s rugby there.

What are your academic/career goals? 

I plan to major in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering or Chemistry; I am still figuring out whether I want to commission as a Naval submarine officer or as a Marine Corps Pilot/Infantry officer. I aspire to have a long career in the military.

What are you most excited for next year?

I am most excited to meet other future midshipmen that I will be learning, growing, and developing with for my next 4 years at the Naval Academy.

What is your favorite memory at North Penn?

My favorite North Penn memory was Junior Prom.
