May Fair brought music and fun even on a rainy day!

TOWAMENCIN- Last Saturday, the North Penn Marching Knights annual May Fair was held at North Penn High School. The Marching Knights performed their show “Hope Rules” along with the color guard.

Besides the musical performances, May Fair had an array of other activities to get people involved. There was a silent auction, various food vendors, and a fan favorite – the dunk tank.

Although the weather was overcast, the spirits remained high. Even when the weather interfered with the music to their performance, the color guard didn’t skip a beat and finished it flawlessly.

“The purpose of May Fair is to fund the Music Aides, the organization that helps keeps the Music Education alive for many years to come,” Mikayla Neu, Marching Knights member, commented. “Despite May Fair not having sunny weather, it was all a great success, especially the Director’s Dunk Tank. It was definitely a highlight!”

Hope Suitor, also a proud Marching Knight, agreed that May Fair was a great celebration of music. “Performing as a Marching Knight felt amazing, it was great to bring our show back to life. The feeling of hitting the button on the dunk tank was amazing!”

May Fair is proof that despite uncontrollable circumstances, music is the glue that keeps everyone together. A big congratulations to all the groups who performed!
