Day 4: a day in paradise

Today was an experience like no other; perfect views in paradise would sum up the day.

First, we went to the Nuuanu Pali lookout, which overlooks parts of the island that are truly beautiful sights. This included the towns and view of the beach between the Koolau Mountain Range. The trade wind between the mountains made it hard to even stand and take a picture.

We then got on the bus and traveled to Kualoa’s Ranch, so we could take a boat from there to the Secret Island. The island had beautiful water with white sand. The island had many things to offer: kayaking, floating boat games, a glass bottom boat tour, volleyball, and other equipment to have a good time at the beach. A lunch buffet was offered to us by the island. The buffet included Kualoa Field Green Salad, fresh pineapple, kimchi, BBQ pork ribs, buttered corn, mango pineapple Teriyaki chicken, homemade beef chili, steamed white rice, and pineapple cake for dessert. It was nice to experience Hawaiian cultural food.

Back at the hotel we had about an hour to get ready before we needed to meet for dinner. When we met for dinner we walked to the Cheeseburger Restaurant and were offered a choice of Caesar salad, make-your-own burger, or a chicken sandwich. After the chaos of everyone finding a table, we all sat and enjoyed our food.

After dinner we were given free time. With such a long, fun filled day, most people went out to get some kind of dessert and went to sleep.
