People’s Pope continues to spread message where it’s needed most

After touching the hearts of nearly a million Americans back in the fall, Pope Francis continues his parade of peace around the world, most recently traveling to Mexico. Pope Francis opened the eyes of many young people, telling them of peace, and to stay away from gangs and drugs. His mission in Mexico was to save the future generation from nefarious actions and to prevent them from continuing the villainous ways children are being influenced today.

Pope Francis started his journey to Mexico with a full border of people welcoming him. Over a million people were there to greet him, some Catholic, some Christian, and some just there hoping for a new passage of peace and hope that he may be able to deliver. The Pope isn’t just a Catholic figure anymore, but a world leader. He is a superpower of peace who wants to bring people together, no matter their religion. Francis is unquestionably a popular Pope, and is changing the way of the Vatican.

With the greeting of flooded streets, and packed crowds cheering his name, Pope Francis began with a prayer, and delivered his speech. He appealed to the crowd, saying that the amount of gangs and violence in Mexico needs to stop.

“Jesus would never ask us to be hit men,” the pope said. “He would never send us out to death.”

Over 100,000 people have been victims of Mexico’s gang and drug rages. Francis realizes that this needs to end, so he tells children that Jesus doesn’t want them to be “Hit Men”. Not only did he disrespect every gang member, which is extremely dangerous, but he also made an extreme statement, which opened the eyes of the next generation in an effort to change their views on the gangs in their lives.

“It is hard to feel the wealth of a nation when there are no opportunities for dignified work, no possibilities for study or advancement, when you feel your rights are being trampled on, which then leads you to extreme situations,” the Pope told them.

The Pope also took a swing at the Police, and other authorities for failing to help the situations and prevent the other 100,000 deaths caused by gangs. In Mexico City, he chastised bishops for being gossips obsessed with coddling wealthy patrons and failing to denounce the evils of the drug trade.

Pope Francis is not like any other Pope, he is an outgoing man who only cares for the peace of the world. He doesn’t care about what gangs will think of what he says, he cares about saving the lives of those who still have a future. He cares about the peace of the world, no matter what religion. In Mexico, he called out all the issues and made a statement that will stick. He changed the lives of millions in Mexico, now he will continue his journey to other third world countries that need his help as well.
