Where: NPHS Cafeteria

When: All lunch periods; 2/20-2/21 ($25), 2//24-2/28 ($30)

Why: MiniTHON is North Penn’s version of Penn State University’s THON, which raises money for childhood cancer. From 6 pm on Friday, April 24 until 6 am on Saturday, April 25, all North Penn students who register for MiniTHON will participate in a night of dancing, sports, lip syncing, and lots and lots of eating.

“I do MiniTHON because I don’t think any kid should have to celebrate their birthday like it’s their last one. MiniTHON raises so much money for kids that go through an everyday struggle that no one should ever have to go through,” said MiniTHON Chair Randy Garcia.

“Everyone should come to MiniTHON because the 12 hours of your life spent dancing and raising money can make a serious difference in someone else’s life. We should all come together as a community to help support those families going through tough times,” added MiniTHON Chair Jessica Mitchell.
