Various types of North Penn art work on display.

The North Penn Knight of the Arts, featuring artwork created by students from K-12 and fashion wear created by students in the FCS program, is open to the public on Wednesday, May 22, and Thursday, May 23, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The North Penn Knight of the Arts is an impressive show that features a multitude of media, including painting, photography, sculpture, computer animation, fashion design and more. Students will demonstrate their artistic skills, such as drawing and throwing on the potter’s wheel, during the show. In addition to the artwork, community members can walk through the fashion gala exhibit in the audion to see how students are taking the fashion industry by storm. Furthermore, the Gallery also includes the Senior Show, which features artwork created by seniors who have taken three or more art classes throughout their high school years, showing their dedication to the visual arts. It includes a reception for these seniors, their families, and friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the art pod of North Penn High School. Additionally, musical performances from district schools will occur in the evenings to delight your auditory as well as visual senses.

Donations to benefit the Senior Art Scholarship Fund are welcome. The scholarship is awarded to several seniors who will be pursuing art in college. In addition, if you would like to make a donation to the FCS program, contributions will be accepted outside of the audion. Art scholarship Donations will be accepted in J-pod. T-shirts with student-designed art show logo will be available to purchase (see attached image). All proceeds benefit the art scholarship. Additionally, you may opt to send a check made payable to NPHS Art Scholarship Fund via the district courier or mail to ATTN: Mike Werner, 1340 Valley Forge Rd., Lansdale, PA 19446.
