Justice Antonin Scalia’s death quickly sparks political battle

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, 79, was found dead on Saturday at a resort in Texas. A political battle is taking place over whether President Obama should nominate Scalia’s successor. Some Republicans believe that voters in November’s presidential election should have a say in the direction of the nation’s top court.

Pope Francis suggests Donald Trump is ‘not Christian’

 

Pope Francis released a comment in an interview saying Donald Trump is “not Christian”. This comment was made in response to Trump’s proposal on the campaign trail about building a wall on the U.S-Mexico border to stop illegal immigration. Trump’s response to the Pope given in South Carolina was that he is “a good Christian”.

Kanye West begs Mark Zuckerberg for money in Twitter rant FullSizeRender-5

$53 million in debt isn’t an ideal situation, but Kanye West somehow got stuck in it. Kanye tweeted out for his fans to send him prayers to help him get out of his financial crisis. Shortly after he tweeted Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to help bail him out of his debt.  Kanye continued to tweet about how deserving he is of this money while begging the world to get Zuckerberg’s attention of his crisis.

On February 15, 2016 the 58th annual Grammy award show was held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Many memories were made, including the most anticipated part of the show when Lady Gaga made her tribute to David Bowie, who passed away last month. There were many performances throughout the night that ranged from a show opening starter by Taylor Swift to one of Kendrick Lamar’s best performances to a country medley duet performed by Carrie Underwood and Sam Hunt. At the end of the night, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars won the Record of the Year award for “Uptown Funk”.
