TOWAMENCIN – On Tuesday March 19, 2013, the North Penn senior cafeteria with Key Club members bagging goods and supplies for the WNPV Cooking Show set to be held on Wednesday, March 20 from 3 to 9pm.

Tonight we are packing the bags that they are giving out at the WNPV Radio Show which benefits the community around North Penn,” explained Key Club President Jess Roberts. “The items going in these bags ranged from coupons to cooking recipes of to magnets and everything else in between.”

Phil Hunt, the general manager of WNPV Radio explained that each of these bags will go to one of the “thousand people going to the cooking show at the high school on Wednesday.”

Donations from the Cooking Show on Wednesday from 3-9pm will go to the North Penn High School Key Club and “it also benefits the community as Manna on Main Street is doing a food drive,” continued Hunt.

For the Cooking Show the cafeteria opens up with the vendor display at 5pm and the show begins at 7:30pm in the auditorium. A professional chef who is from Taste at Home magazine will prepare eleven different recipes on stage and every participate that comes in their goodie bag is a cook book that has all these recipes they will follow along with him and all see it on a projector overhead.

The Key Club will also be helping out at the Cooking Show itself on Wednesday night as it has for the past 20 years.
