TOWAMENCIN- Just weeks after returning to the halls of North Penn High School following his Super Bowl victory,  former North Penn student and current Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus will be in attendance for another event hosted by his alma mater: the Class of 2016 senior prom.

After receiving a tweet from North Penn senior Sydney Towns asking him to be her date to Senior Prom, he decided to accept.

Sydney tweeted, “Hey @thatkidmcmanus be a knight for the night again and go to Penn senior prom with me??”

McManus responded with, “Of course I will, anything for a knight #knightforanight”

The two have been talking about outfit and corsage matching for the past week, and are extremely excited for this year’s Senior Prom. When McManus visited North Penn last week, Sydney also made a sign to ask him with. It was not shown on North Penn TV for privacy reasons, but he again accepted, and followed it up with a picture taken of the two together.

This year’s prom will be the first to have a celebrity attending, and is sure to be a memorable and historical evening for all in attendance. The popularity of North Penn has soared, and has given the North Penn community much joy. The press and other news broadcasters are said to be swarming the prom, so prepare to look your best!
