Ten ways to spend a snow day

Mikaela Mosley, Staff Writer

I’m pretty sure that by this point, most of your phones have been blown up with texts notifying you that there is no school Monday, January 24, due to the 6,000 inches of snow that we received this past weekend. Okay, maybe that is a bit exaggerated, but three feet isn’t too far off. Anyway, I’m sure that the question that begs to be answered for all 3,000 students when that text comes is, “What am I going to do?” Well, I’ve got some possible answers. Here are ten things you can do on your snow day:

1. Binge watch Netflix
2. Snuggle up by the fireplace while drinking a hot cup of hot cocoa
3. Try to shovel your way out into the real world
4. Help a neighbor shovel their snow
5. Spend time with the family (heck, you’re already trapped in the house with them)
6. Catch up on homework (from last week)
7. Play in the snow (yes you know you want to build a snowman)
8. Take candid pictures of the snow (that is if some dog hasn’t already soiled it)
9. Snapchat! (let’s be real you spend more time snapchatting than you do eating)
10. Use the extra day to actually study for midterms
