Fro-Yo Comes Close to Home

Fro-Yo Comes Close to Home

It’s easy, it’s personable, it’s cheap, it’s delicious; it’s frozen yogurt. The new alternative to ice cream and especially popular among high schoolers, “Fro-Yo” is quickly becoming a go-to snack for friends looking to grab a sweet treat on a Friday night. For North Penn Students however, grabbing Frozen Yogurt would involve car ride that may take up to twenty minutes with the closest shops being “Simply Twisted” up Horsham Road or “Pop-Pop’s” located in Skippack. But now there is a Fro-Yo store much closer to home with the newly opened “Frozen Cow Yogurt” located in the shopping center at the intersection of US 202 and County Line Road.

As you walk into the newly opened Fro-Yo parlor, you are greeted with a hip, relaxed setting with couches, chairs, and tables for customers to enjoy their yummy treats. Head to the back of the store and that’s where your journey to yogurt perfection begins. Grab a cup (small or large size) and choose your flavors from a variety of self serve machines that allow you to mix and match whichever tasty combination you desire. Once you are satisfied with your delicious yogurt concoction, turn around and dress it up at the toppings bar which is laid out in an easy accessible way where the endless choices are labeled and constantly changed by staff to keep everything fresh. Finally as you head to check out, you can finish off your bowl with a variety of hot toppings such as fudge, caramel, marshmallow, or just simply whipped cream.

Aside from yogurt, Frozen Cow also gives you the opportunity to grab a cup of coffee to complement your dessert or even make yourself a waffle for a special “a la mode” treat.

From the brown and blue color scheme; to the relaxed, sociable layout of couches and tables; to the free; Wi-Fi Frozen Cow Yogurt certainly creates an environment that makes it easy to enjoy your creation. From beginning to end the new yogurt parlor is sure to become a go to hangout spot for people all around the North Penn area.

“Frozen Cow Yogurt” offers over 50 flavors. Not all at once however, some flavors rotate with the season such as Pumpkin in the fall and Peppermint in the winter. However classics like Chocolate, Vanilla, Espresso, and Peanut Butter are always available. Toppings range from crumbled up candy pieces such as Oreos, Reese’s, or brownies; to even different kinds of fruit like strawberries bananas or blueberries.  Of course it is impossible to list all flavors or toppings in this article, so for a full list and any other information visit www.frozencowyogurt.com.
