It’s just another chilly October weekend; the football game is away and all of a sudden, you have run out of things to do in Lansdale. If you are looking for some chills and thrills, try visiting Lulu’s House of Horrors in Plymouth Meeting which provides the perfect combination of heart-jumping thrills and good old laughs.
Lulu’s, being one of the closest haunted attractions around Lansdale, greets many frightened customers from all over the county. Customers must first wait in a short line before the eerie hay ride through the haunted woods which are filled with many spooky beings, both mechanical and real. Be sure to watch out behind you because the actors literally come out of nowhere!
As the brisk hayride dwindles to a stop, you will notice a foggy graveyard leading to a creepy old house. The windows display different shades of lights: some dark, some purple and some strange strobe lights. But first, to get to the house, you must survive a journey through the graveyard.
When you first walk through the graveyard, you will notice that actors literally unearth themselves from the ground, pop out from behind trees, and even follow right behind you step by step.
Finally, you will arrive at the main attraction—the haunted house. Every room house is filled with different frightening scenes, and you will never experience a room that was similar to the previous. If you manage to make it through the haunted house, the next step is returning safely to the main entrance. But before you can leave, you must go through the entertaining and puzzling corn maze.
Lulu’s is a magnificent place to go if you want to be scared, but not so terrified that sleeping is nearly impossible. It’s a great place to spend time with your friends on a fall weekend. Hope you make it out alive!
