TOWAMENCIN – On one quiet morning in North Penn High School people typically come to school tired and drowsy, but one thing they didn\u2019t expect is an AI book remover. It typically was set to remove books that said harmful things about AI. One student said \u201cI tried to grab a book, and the robot just looked at me,\u201d said one student. \u201cI put it back immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n
Experts are concerned that \u201cif AI starts deciding what information is allowed, who knows what they can do next.\u201d<\/p>\n
Another one said that \u201cthese AI people seem to have minds of their own at times making their own choices.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite the chaos, some students are really enjoying this by throwing books at these AI machines to see what it does. Others are now hiding their books like the AI machines are going to come and steal it.<\/p>\n
Teachers are advising students \u201cif your book says any harm about AI read the book quickly, and throw it away.\u201d<\/p>\n
People don\u2019t know really the effect AI will have and how they will manage matters<\/p>\n
This may be the beginning of a Robot Era at North Penn High School.<\/p>\n
