{"id":49899,"date":"2025-12-16T09:22:57","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T13:22:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.knightcrier.org\/?p=49899"},"modified":"2025-12-16T09:22:57","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T13:22:57","slug":"julia-beaver-making-her-mark-in-the-city-of-music","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.knightcrier.org\/top-stories\/2025\/12\/16\/julia-beaver-making-her-mark-in-the-city-of-music\/","title":{"rendered":"Julia Beaver making her mark in the City of music"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moving thirteen hours away from home may be the dream for some people, but for others that may be just where the dream begins.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This past August, North Penn High School graduate, Julia Beaver, packed up her bags and headed south for Nashville, Tennessee, where she would be attending Belmont University as a songwriting major to live out her dream as a musical artist.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apart from her scheduled classes, Beaver finds creative outlets to share her music with people as often as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her most recent performance was a couple of weeks ago when she performed three of her original songs through the Belmont University Songwriters Association or BUSA.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEvery few weeks, BUSA or a different organization will host a writers round, which means that three or four writers get up and take turns performing their original songs. It was a super cool experience, and I was really grateful to be a part of it,\u201d Beaver explained.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Julia Beaver, or better known as Julia Noelle when it comes to her music, has been writing her own songs ever since she was in elementary school. They were called In My Head, Last Word, and Tattoo,\u201d Beaver stated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTwo of the songs I wrote during my time at Belmont, and then one of them I wrote last year when I was actually applying to colleges for songwriting. That was Tattoo, so it was kind of full circle being able to perform it and go to college after writing it during the application process,\u201d Beaver stated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beaver finds that she is able to find inspiration in so many different places when working on writing new songs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI definitely think that some of them are influenced by real life events and real emotions that I have, but I also think that I can see inspiration in different places.
