The new segment to Mornings will air next fall.

TOWAMENCIN-  Each Friday morning, students hurriedly get to class on time to see North Penn Television’s Mornings. For years, Mornings has managed to deliver North Penn High School’s news while capturing the spirit of the student body. Changes, however, are being made to next year’s morning show line-up.

Physical education teachers Jonathan Fluck and Christopher Frey’s bromance is dead, and so is the well-known morning show segment – Fitness with Fluck and Frey. However, Frey refuses to let this jeopardize his 5 minutes of fame. In place of Fitness with Fluck and Frey, will be a new segment to Mornings called Cooking with Berger and Frey, which will be co-hosted by North Penn chef Kyle Berger and chef Frey.

“Fluck and I had our differences, and we decided that it would be best if we just called off the show,” shared Frey.

Their toxic chemistry caused their views to drop. The new segment, however, promises to be delivered with seasoned meals, personality, and guest hosts.

With last names like Berger and Frey, we obviously needed to get together and make it a combo.

“With last names like Berger and Frey, we obviously needed to get together and make it a combo. We have seen enough of Guy Fieri and need to show people how to make things without Donkey Sauce,” shared Mr. Kyle Berger. “It will also give the morning show another reason not to air Fitness with Fluck and Frey,” shared Berger.

In addition to their teaching careers at North Penn High School, both have always shared a love for cooking. In fact, both Berger and Frey completed 2 years of culinary school. Still, their love for education exceeded their love for cooking. Now, they have found a way to pursue both dreams.

“It has always been my dream to become a chef.  I became a teacher and put that dream on the back burner,” shared Frey.

Berger and Frey plan to teach the student body how to properly make meals without burning down their homes. The show is expected to be greatly appreciated by parents who have had to clean up one too many hot pocket incidents.

“We will be focusing on meals you can easily make at home for your family, but we will also do some gourmet meals that can be used for promposal purposes,” said Berger.

Students will be able to sign up for a date to sit in on a live show. The set seats 15 people, and all are welcome whether a teacher or student.

Everything happens for a reason, and the end of Fitness with Fluck and Frey opened a new door for both Frey and Berger. Berger and Frey will spice up Lansdale when Cooking with Berger and Frey airs next fall.
