NPHS student works accepted into “Touch the Future” at Arcadia

TOWAMENCIN – The North Penn High School Art Department is pleased to announce the acceptance of 15 student works to the 28 Annual PSEA “Touch the Future” show at Arcadia University. The following NPHS art students had their art work accepted: Rubina Bilal, Carter Chan, Andrew Collins, Marissa Dannacker, Maya Dzwil, Anna Haggerty, Gabe Harbison, Lauren Helt, Brian Henrysen, Kate Lombardo, Abi Lua, Ali McLaughin, Jeffery Morrison, and Danielle Wilhelm.
Congratulations also to Julia Cook for winning best Digital Image/Computer Graphics design for her Animation Storyboard!
The PSEA 28th Annual High School “Touch the Future” Student Art Show will have its opening reception this Sunday March 1from 1:00-3:00PM at Arcadia University.

Arcadia University, hosting the 28th PSEA Show will be granting the overall first place winner a $1,500 achievement award; second place winner a $1,000 achievement award and third place winner a $500 achievement award for full-time undergraduate study at Arcadia University.

Notes and statistics from the co-chairs:
338 pieces of artwork were submitted by 27 public school districts throughout Bucks & Montgomery Counties.
253 pieces were juried into the show by Lindsey Stevenson, Assistant Director of Admissions, Tyler School of Art, Temple University.
85 pieces were juried out by Lindsey Stevenson with only 4 submissions per teacher. *Note: There is no space provided for juried out work. Please arrange to pick this up on Friday, February 20, all day, until 3:30
