Stephanie Bresadola continues passion for running at Kutztown

Whether she was running up and down the field or around the track, Stephanie Bresadola always represented North Penn with her best effort. After graduating in 2015, she planned on continuing soccer and track and field at the Division 2 level at Kutztown University. She loved the campus and the coach, and in the end she chose running over soccer.

“I chose cross country over soccer, because I liked to run track better, and the track coaches I spoke with said I had to run cross country. Playing soccer was frowned upon [by them],” said Bresadola.

Being her second year on the Cross Country and Track and Field teams, Bresadola has adjusted to running easily. She loves running, so it didn’t take her long to fall in love with Cross Country. Although she is having a great time running at the collegiate level, part of her still misses the soccer field.

Favorite part about college: “Definitely the new friends I’ve made. We all became so close so quickly. They make everything so fun. There’s an ice cream diner place five minutes walking from from campus and we go there all the time!”

What do you miss most about North Penn? “I miss having classes with friends and being able to recognize people in every class.”

Advice for high schoolers: “My advice would be to enjoy high school while you are there. Also, appreciate your parents, because if you are going away for college you’ll really miss them.”
