New addiction grips the world

New addiction grips the world

Dear Knights,

It’s addictive. It’s free. You can share it with your friends. It’s really big among the high school population. It’s consuming the lives of people everywhere. It’s Crack…. Trivia Crack that is.

And just by spinning a wheel, a person becomes addicted within 30 seconds.

You may be asking – where can I get it?

First, go onto a computer or open up the App Store, then type in “Trivia Crack” and click the download button. You’ll be addicted in no time to this new game that’s storming the world.

Trivia Crack is the most addicting trivia game that has existed within the young adult population especially at North Penn High School. Even middle and elementary schools are packed with Trivia Crack conversations.

Whether or not the game became popular because the word “crack” is in the title, the game itself is addicting. Playing games against friends, the user spins a wheel and it lands on a certain category. The game then asks a question and gives 4 options.

Below is an example question from the Science Category.

Question: Which is the lung disease that often affects smokers?

  1. LOC
  2. CLAW
  3. COPD
  4. OLC

Given 30 seconds to answer the question, a user has to decide which one is correct (COPD was the correct answer), but there are also power ups including, extra time, bomb, double chance, and skip. These power ups give you a better chance to answer correctly. By answering a question correctly helps a player advance in levels.

Sooner or later, teachers will start putting Trivia Crack up on the Smart Board as a bell ringer. Or Mr. Brumbaugh might have one of his Brumbaugh Challenge questions taken from the game.

Trivia Crack is a major fad at North Penn like Yik Yak was a couple months ago, except Trivia Crack is actually a positive app that doesn’t discriminate or offend any North Penn students. It’s a nice change to see the student body engaging in an academic app other than a bullying app.

Sincerely,

Siena
