Dear Knights,

Three words: Alex from Target.

Girls swoon over that statement and wish that they had an “Alex” at their Target.

This random sixteen year old boy from Texas became a social media sensation in the matter of only hours because a creepy teenage girl took his photo while he was bagging her groceries at the checkout line in Target.

Alex from Target started out with 144 Twitter followers before this photo of him was posted and now has more than 689K followers. In the matter of two hours, Alex had strangers coming up to him in Target showing him the picture of himself and showing his Twitter account and how he’s trending.

Within two days of this twitter fame, Ellen hosted him on the show and interviewed him. The interview was hilariously boring because he’s a normal kid with a normal job just trying to make some money.

This attractive sixteen year old kid now has the nation’s attention for no reason at all.

Alex from Target is a prime example that anyone can get famous for literally anything. Like the Kardashians, they aren’t singers or actresses, they just have an Olympian step-father and their family fights all the time.

So what made Alex from Target so famous? His hotness and how desperate girls don’t have lives and would rather stalk a hot boy from Texas. Some of those girls even messaged Alex’s girlfriend sending her death threats.

He’s an attractive guy, but there’s nothing special to him. The Twitter world created Alex from Target to be this interesting hot cashier, when he’s just a regular guy. Same with other random guys with normal jobs who appeared on twitter: Steve from Starbucks, and Kiran from T Mobile.

Some say that Target started this publicity to promote the store during holiday season, but I doubt it. If they did, they wouldn’t have chosen Alex out of every Target staff member. Just saying.

Alex from Target gives the nation a little hope in the sense that maybe a normal person like me or you could become famous for doing absolutely nothing too.

Sincerely,

Siena
