Chokehold Death Protests spread

Protests have broken out in several major U.S. cities following a Staten Island grand jury not indicting officer Daniel Panteleo for killing an unarmed black male, Eric Garner. Protesters are calling for reform of the police system following the deaths of of Garner and Michael Brown, both were unarmed and killed by police officers.

Sixers finally win to avoid embarrassing history

The 76ers finally got their first win of the season wednesday night in Minnesota aginast the timberwolves. Had the sixers (1-17) lost they would have tied the NBA record for most losses to start a season with 18 straight.
